This new landscape has revolutionised how children experience break time, fostering rapid growth in creativity, self-assurance, and teamwork. Students now readily engage in imaginative group play, actively building skills, and deepening their self-discovery.
Design Philosophy: Nurturing Growth and Exploration
The conceptual approach for the design was rooted in the school’s desire for an educationally rich environment. This mandated the use of beautiful, robust equipment constructed from natural materials to seamlessly integrate the playground with the surrounding campus landscape.
The final design strategically incorporates various zones, catering to all aspects of student energy and mood. It offers high-energy areas where children can test their physical limits and expend excess energy, alongside tranquil corners and seating designed for calm reflection and social interaction. This thoughtful balance ensures every child finds a space where they can flourish.
To deliver both a striking natural look and the resilience required for Bangkok’s tropical climate, The design team specified components from their Nature Play range. When paired with dedicated fitness stations and innovative seating arrangements, the Junior School area emerges as a leading example of modern school recreation design.

- Agility & Fitness: The Wobbly Wood Activity Trail 2125 and an in-ground Trampoline Pi challenge physical coordination and boost stamina.
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Climbing structures like the Twig Stack 355, Double Scaling Wall, Turbo Challenge, and Monkey Bar fitness stations encourage group effort and creative solutions.
- Rest & Socializing: The Wobbly Wood Lazy Daisy Hammock, Teepees, and a Legend Curved Bench Double offer quiet retreats for students to relax and connect with peers.
- Cognitive Development: An oversized outdoor Chess Board & Pieces integrates strategy and social engagement, significantly enhancing cognitive skills.
